The overarching theme for the 2017 D9800 conference experience will be Social Cohesion, a critical societal element that research recognises as being seen in communities that prove to be particularly resilient in times of stress.

The conference will be fun, relevant and provide insights into community leadership and collaborative projects that are important in developing community resilience, social capital, and building social inclusion. 


Connecting Communities - Serving Humanity

The 2017 District 9800 Conference will showcase recent achievements of Rotary, be they global and local, large and small.

Some of Rotary’s most the successful projects are the result of collaboration between communities comprising Rotary clubs, Non- Government Organisations, Governments and Corporations, who together have improved the lives of a countless number of people.

Fellowship and Networking

Thursday night there will be a Welcome function at theShepparton Showgrounds in the beautifully refurbished McIntosh Centre.

Friday night will be set aside for Club/Cluster dinners and

Saturday night will feature the Gala Dinner at the Eastbank Centre following the conference close.

That leaves Sunday and beyond for you to roam around the beautiful Goulburn Valley and visit the excellent art and cultural centres, and wine and fine food producers, explore local history or just take in the natural beauty of the area.
